Military member provisional licensure during pending reciprocity
- Examination relationship
- The DLRR leaf belongs to the mandatory pending reciprocity application. Provisional permission to practise pending that application is a condition; it does not remove the currently offered examination involved in the route.
- Faq conflict
- The funeral-services FAQ says "Answer: No, there is no provision for temporary licensure." Section 8735(r) and DPR’s current military page expressly authorize this provisional pathway.
- Form scope
- The linked 2020 form describes active military, National Guard and reserve applicants; the broader qualifying-person definition in § 8735(p)(7) governs the statute.
- Other license
- Hold an active licence in good standing in a jurisdiction with substantially similar requirements, without unresolved complaint, review or discipline.
- Pending application
- Have a full endorsement or reciprocity application pending, with required Title 24 documentation and fees submitted.
- Provisional duration
- The provisional licence permits practice for up to six months while the full application is pending; it cannot be renewed.
- Qualifying person
- Be a qualifying military member assigned to a Delaware duty station; provide official verification.

- Existing registration
- Hold an existing resident intern registration.
- Extension
- One additional year may be allowed; further extensions are at Board discretion for cause shown.
